Cowboys' Game in Phoenix

Romo on the big screen making the big plays!

The view from our seats at University of Phoenix Stadium

We got really close for warm ups and got to see lots of our favorite players and annoucers:)

Game Excitement

It was exciting just to be in the parking lot, we weren't sure when to go in because we didn't want to miss out on being with all the fans.
We saw some serious tail gaters and it smelled so good. These were the best ones we saw and Leslie wished she could join them. It was so amaizng the dedication of some fans.
It was so fun to watch everyone in warm ups. This is Tony Romo (before he broke his pinki in OT. What a disappointing loss.
More warm ups. Leslie got in a fight with the Cardinals kicker while he was practicing. He missed the goal and wanted his ball back. She told him, "if you could kick right you wouldn't need to get your ball back" and she told him to come and get it himself. He cursed at her, but I won't write that:)

Hoover Dam

We stopped at The Hoover Dam on the way home from Phoenix. You can't tell from the picture, but the Dam is so huge and tall. It is something to see if you've never been there.

Travis and Angie (Leslie's brother and his wife)

These three (Sammy Jonah and Ali) play really well together and love their picture taken. This is in Jill's backyard. I got to watch a few of the kids while everyone went in all directions.

Finisher!

It rained the whole time. I ran in a plastic bag for the first 11 miles and thought the rain was subsiding and shredded it. Later wished I didn't because Igot soaked. Rain was pelting my eyes. It was so nice to know Rene was waiting for me at mile 16. What a trooper waiting int he rain! I was cold up to an hour after and needed a heated blanket even after my hot shower. You can see my blue lips in the last picture. I am not fast, but I finished! 4 hrs 41 min.

Part of the pack

I was allowed to be a part of the Goold family history. All the brothers (but one) ran the race this year and Phil's wife Heatehr. Fun people!

Marathon Video

Mile 24, all down hill from here...pretty much.

I handed off my soaking wet t shirt gloves and

ipod that died 8 miles earlier.
