There is a price to get this close to beauty....and we wore the wrong shoes....
Isn't this gorgeous!? This is the first 2 mile beach.
The trail was trecherous and muddy at times...
I had to bribe Leslie with anything I could think of to get to the end of the 8 miles that day. We were wearing reef shoes, not such a good choice for this trail. Live and learn:)

Wow! Those first two pictures should be framed! So so gorgeous! 8 miles sounds so terrible to me. I hate hiking, but that scenery is probably worth it!
